Firefighters from Clifton and nearby towns responded to a house fire. The blaze occurred on Hackberry Street, where a home was fully engulfed. A person was believed to be inside the house at the time of the fire.

However, heavy smoke and flames prevented rescue attempts. The fire was eventually brought under control, and a fatality was discovered after the flames were extinguished. Further information is available from the Clifton Police Department.
