A program designed for freshmen is returning after nearly two decades. The Freshman League is an intramural program that allows first-year students to participate in sports and build community outside the classroom. It was discontinued due to lack of structure but is now being brought back by Campus Recreation.

The intramural sports program has a long history, dating back to 1924 when it was created to discover talent and strengthen campus spirit. Today, around 5,000 undergraduate students participate in intramurals.

Further details about the program and its benefits are available, including its impact on student retention.
