Crews have successfully contained a fire, allowing residents to return home. Residents were previously ordered to evacuate due to the fire, but those orders are no longer in effect. The fire had been burning in an area near a major road.
A nearby section of highway was closed, causing delays on several roads. The closure affected a portion of Interstate 35, as well as West and East FM 487.
