At the Mayborn Museum on Saturday, visitors participated in a community project. They were asked to create a fabric square that represents what America means to them.

The designs will be part of the America 250 Community Quilt. One participant, Amelia Rodriguez, who is 8 years old, worked on her design to contribute to the quilt.

Further details about the project can be found in the Waco Tribune-Herald. The newspaper has more information about the community quilt and the event at the Mayborn Museum.
