The Texas Department of Transportation plans to redesign a part of a road to better reflect current usage. This transformation will change the road from a freeway to an urban boulevard. The project includes rehabilitation work and additions such as roundabouts and pedestrian crossings.
The road in question connects several routes, including I-35 and University Parks Drive. Construction on this road is expected to be completed by 2030.
Further details on the project, including additional construction plans and timelines, are available from the Texas Department of Transportation's website.
